The Krewe de Rougarou is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cultural heritage, community engagement, and charitable outreach inspired by the legendary Rougarou of the Louisiana swamps. Throughout the year, we host inclusive, educational events that celebrate the Halloween season while supporting underserved communities, animal welfare initiatives, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through service, advocacy, and storytelling, we uplift marginalized voices and foster spaces where every story is honored, every culture embraced, and every individual empowered. Each year culminates with our annual "Blood Moon Bash" which also serves as a fundraising and awareness event to further our mission of transformation, resilience, and community empowerment.
